For my final A – Level Graphic Design project I chose to create a series of poster and campaign designs for the charity - War Child, featuring original illustrations, font designs and layouts. By using a variety of different mediums, including oil pastels, water colour paints, black Indian ink as well as the software Photoshop, I was able to successfully bring my poster designs to life and appropriately capture the different cultures featured. By primarily using oil pastels to create my illustrations, I was able to not only create realistic, eye-catching mixed media style posters, but also was able to effectively communicate sensitive topics and messages across to audiences.
